A few months ago, we were invited to contribute to the weekly AquaPaddle UK blog and have had great fun coming up with ideas and stories that we hope might interest or inspire you.

We thought we ought to link those blogs to our website so here’s a run-down of all those currently on the AquaPaddle UK website:

A roundup of what went down and who were the champions at the Paddle UK National Sprint Regatta held at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham.

25 July 2025 - The Yukon 1000

A 1000-mile race on the Yukon River is not for the faint-hearted – we speak to some of those who have conquered it! From thousands of global applicants, only 30 teams (60 paddlers) were accepted for 2025. Just 22 made it to the start line, and of those, 18 completed the race. This is not a challenge for the faint-hearted.

1 August 2025 - Sharing the Love

We all love a photo of ourselves taking part in SUP but there’s a deeper reason why photographs and other media are so important for sharing the love of our chosen sport.

We give you a rundown of what’s involved in the Thames 200 Ultra - not only 200 km of beautiful landscapes and challenging waters, but 40 portages to cope with.

Not heard of the SUPer Festival – now's your chance to read all about it ahead of the event.

29 August 2025 - The Big Dippa 2025

We attended one of the gnarliest races we have ever known in the UK with our very own Sarah competing and reporting firsthand! Read the race report and see some amazing photos of the incredible conditions.

12 September 2025 - SUPer Festival 2025 Review

A round up of the 2025 edition of the SUPer Festival and what to expect at the ICF SUP World Cup being being held in Torbay, UK in June 2026.

Then think again! Don’t just shut the door on an Ultra Endurance race because you think it’s not for you.

If you are training your body for competing, then perhaps you need to train your mind too. Our guest writer Kirsty MacMillan takes us on a journey from discovering SUP just 10 years ago, to lining up at the ICF World SUP Championships in Sarasota 2024 and feeling more calm, focused, and present than ever before.

That’s all for now but if you want to read more do sign up to our Newsletter here to keep in touch – we have regular Guest Blogs which are always fascinating!
